Stop corruption rally in Kokrajhar

Hundreds of BJP activists and leaders on Friday joined in the protest rally against corruption demanding early VCDC election in BTC to ensure good governance in Kokrajhar. 

With banners, festoons, placards the protesters shouted slogans demanding early measures to stop corruption in the implementing of the various government schemes in the state. Organized by the Kokrajhar district BJP unit the rally started from the party office and ended in front of the DC office.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to the Assam Governor through Deputy Commissioner demanding early measures to deal with the Jihadi activities. They alleged gross corruption and anomalies in the allotment of IAY houses among the BPL beneficiaries, job cards in the rural areas.  

BJP MLAs Manaranjan Das, Ranjit Das along with ex BTC executive member Mono Kumar Brahma, Sibnath Brahma participated in the rally.
