Suraksha Manch flays Oboro Suruksha Samiti

The Janajati Suraksha Manch has strongly condemned and flayed the Oboro Suraksha Manch for their protest and anti tribal activities in the state which has been indulging to harm existence of tribals. 

Speaking the reporters at Kokrajhar Press Club on Friday Janak Lal Basumatary,president of Bodoland Janajati Suruksha Manch said the mobilizations of Oboro Suraksha Samiti holding protests like dharna in Rajbhawan are totally anti-tribal and BTC.

‘The Oboro Suruksha Samiti is created protection of only the illegal foreigners and unauthorized settlers in tribal area of BTAD. This is enduring the security of tribal life and land right and political right.” Basumatary said.

He also alleged that Rajbongshi immigrants from Rangpur and Maimansing reached in the state in 1965 and 1971, but now the AKRSU, which has been demanding ST status is only the step to create political interest, which is not regarded as genuine demand as they are totally immigrated.

He has also slammed the Lok Sabha MP Naba Kumar Sarania and BTC MCLA Arpana Das for their active role against tribals as well demanding of village expulsion from BTAD.
