45 MLAs for Gogoi as CM!

The dissident camp seeking the exit of Tarun Gogoi as chief minister is heading for a split putting three time chief minister in a comfort zone.

Sources told Assam Times, as of now Gogoi has the support of 45 MLAs and that’s why, he is preparing to isolate the entire camp for waging war against him.

Apart from this, the party high command wants him to continue as chief minister till 2016. Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi are aware of the entire scene.  

According to reliable sources, a section of party legislators who have already backed Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as chief minister starts distancing themselves from participating in the frequent meetings in New Delhi.

Another section of the dissident MLAs is averse to the ultimatum to the high command on the issue saying that hasty decision would spoil the mission.
