Stunned by incessant criticism, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation gets tougher with the illegal commercial establishments operating in the city.
GMC is all set to seal 20 marriage halls in the city with effect from August 1. The authorities will take action against these license less halls under the Section 337 (A) (I) of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation Act 1971.
