HANTIGIRI NARZARY, KOKRAJHAR: BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary has slammed the state government for not allowing financial support to the council for implementing the propose projects included in the historic Bodo Accord. He said that only direct funding would help them ensure a speedy development process.
Addressing a public meeting at Adabari in Kokrajhar on Monday, he said the council has not received adequate fund from Dispur which was why, them have not been able to fulfill the promises.
According to him, as per population pattern the council should get 12.19 percent fund and that as of now, they get only 4.18 percent per year.
