Taekwondo talents shining
Several Assam taekwondo talents are shinning in the on going 60th National School Games in Jabalpur.
Sansuma Narzary struck gold in U-62 kg in the U-19 category. Rajdeep Baruah has fetched bronze in U-46 kg in the same category. Dipika Hazarika also got bronze in U-35 kg in the and U-14 girls category till November 20.

The state tennis boys team selection of U-14, U-17, U-19 years for the 60th National School Games 2014-15 will be held on November 16 and on November 23 for Girls at SAI Centre, Guwahati from 8 am onwards. The U-14, U-17 and U-19 students should be born on or after 01/11/2001, 01/01/1998 and 01/11/1996 respectively. Also, they should be studying upto class VIII, X and XII respectively. The student need to submit eligibility documents in new SGFI format with copies of birth certificate along with last year's mark sheet for age proof to the selectors. For details, please contact local District Sports Officers or SAI office at Guwahati.
