Peshawar forces high alert in schools

Assam is on alert two days after the Peshawar incident where militants massacred over 150 students at a school. Dispur on Friday put all the districts authorities on alert to thwart such militant attempt. The security forces are also on maximum alert.

Minister Rockybul Hussain disclosed it on the floor on behalf of the home department on Friday. He said the government has issued instruction to the district administrations for taking necessary measures.

The quick reaction team and bomb disposal squad are also ready to prevent any possible incidents of terror. Hussain informed the House in the zero hour in reply to a question moved by BJP MLA Ranjit Kumar Das.
