Congress party has been stepped up to strengthening of its party position in BTC ahead of council election scheduling to be held by April next,as other parties are gearing up to show mass support strength in Kokrajhar.
It is observed that several regional and national political parties including BPF,BJP are organising rally and meeting in the region, the Congress party has too made a massive preparation to hold a grand mass gathering at Dwimalu ground in Kokrajhar on March 18 and several leaders from district and Assam State Pradesh Congress(APCC) are camping in Kokrajhar to over see the arrangements of the gathering which is trying gain more strength than BJP rally on last week at the same point.

October 14, 2025 - Students from Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti School emerged victorious in the Assam State finale of the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge, defeating competitors from 109 other schools in what organizers called one of the most competitive rounds in the program's 18-year history.
