3 killed, cracks in buildings

Three people died and several others sustained injury when a 7.4 magnitude tremor jolted the state along with other eastern states on Saturday. 

Originated in Kathmandu, the tremor was felt at 11.48 in the morning where 3 people died. They include a person in Mongoldoi who sustained injury as he was running out of his rattling house. 

Two others succumbed to injuries in Bongaigaon. 

A number of buildings developed crack after the quake. These include the Guwahati DC Office and IIT Building.
