A pall of gloom grips the Gauhati University premises a day after Dr. Anamika Ray passed away at a New Delhi-based private hospital.

Teachers and students condoled the death of the assistant professor of communication and journalism department on Monday and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members. A meeting presided over by Chandan Kumar Goswami paid floral tribute to Ray and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

The meeting observed one minutes silence for the peace of the departed soul and extended deep condolences to the bereaved Family members.
