Though the days showing high mercury across the state and summer session, a free medical and health check up camp was organized on Saturday to facilitate medical facility to school students and rural peoples at Bhotgaon High School in Kokrajhar.

It was organized by the 129 Battalion CRPF Bhotgaon where hundreds of publics from various villages in the area attended the camp and took health check up. 

Doctors from CRPF’s and Kokrajhar RNB Civil Hospital served the camp and facilitate medical checkup camp.

A larger number of school students have been also checked up their health. Doctor said that during the summer session most of the remote peoples are facing with diarrhea, malaria, cold and cough which are prescribing the camp. Free medicines were distributed among the present patients in the camp.

NK Barawdos, DIG of CRPF said the CRPF the camp for facilitating health services to the common publics who are living with various problems. Under the aegis of CRPF various social activities has been running in the lower Assam.

Ram Kumar, CO of 129 Bn CRPF, PK Bhagawati, Additional DC Kokrajhar, Doneswar Goyari, Executive Member BTC was also participated in the camp.

BPF leaves three more seats to BJP

The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has left three constituencies- Sorbhog, Rangia and Bhawanipur to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), its ally party. Motor vehicle association warns for non-cooperation in election

The owner and members of the Motor Vehicles in Kokrajhar has warned to take non-cooperation during ensuing Assam assembly election in protest against non-payment of 32 crores of hire charge bills and previous bills of vehicles, which are pending for a long time in the district. The Election Observer for Expenditure for 31-Sidli (ST) LAC Jaginder Singh, IRS on Tuesday arrived at Kajalgaon in Chirang district.
