Akhil lambasts Sonowal

KMSS president Akhil Gogoi on Saturday came down heavily on Sarbananda Sonowal alleging that the Union minister has not been able to fight for Assam and its people. Gogoi called Sonowal a puppet saying that he lacks courage to take on Narendra Modi for his repeated injustice to Assam.

Addressing a press conference, Gogoi said tthe Centre should help the state manage the crisis. “We need not dialogue in this hour of crisis. The need of the hour is a package,” said Gogoi. He further criticised the Centre for not clearing the appointment of Deven Buragohain as the gas cracker chairman.
