Curious UFO in sky!

An unidentified object hovering around the sky in upper Assam pulled no less spell of curiosity among lakhs of people on Wednesday evening.

Much to the utter surprise and curiosity, the comet like object was spotted in the sky in and around the Naharkatiya area at around 9 in the evening forcing the people to come out of their homes to watch the strange objects. But there was no conclusion even from the experts.

The same object struck the heavy attention of the people in Dibrugarh district on Tuesday night.

 

Meanwhile, ISRO officials in Shillong told Assam Times that they were not aware of such objects in the sky. But they said if it is spotted it might be drones.

whether ISRO or NASA they will never confess that ufos are of extraterrestrial origin...i have witnessed an ufo from the front yard of my house in jorhat,assam, india on 23rd june 2015...the ufo hovered for about 40mins and finally shot off at lightning speed into the night sky..it can travel at the blink of an eye and i dont think that a drone has that technology...if drones can accelerate at lightning speed then we sud able to go for interstellar travel sitting in a drone itself..whatever i saw was nothing made on earth..nothing made om earth has technology to accelerate away and shot off at the speed of lightning

Yes. I live in dibrugarh 2days after this event i saw a ufo around 8pm while i was talking to my friend on phone suddenly i heard a loud noise and the phone's signal was lost.my frined too heard ths noise. I looked up and i saw a big ufo with purple light hovering on top of me. I quickly went inside and called my mom and sister. When they came it went away in a lighting size and became like a star but was moving very fast. My friend also saw the ufo

Chopper suspense over; Joshi spotted

Marking an end to the eight day long suspense, lifeless Kamalesh Joshi along with two others have been recovered from a dense jungle in Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday. Braving an inclement weather, the commandos of the High Altitude Warfare School located the decomposed bodies of the Tirap Deputy Commissioner along with and pilots MS Brar and Rajeev Hoskote at a dense jungle.The highly-trained commandos of the HAWS in Jammu and Kashmir reached the spot where the debris of the chopper had been spotted on Monday. The bodies have been spotted. The commandos are cautiously moving on foot to retrieve them for airlifting to Khonsa. 

Paresh Baruah’s mother ailing

 ULFA C-in-C Paresh Baruah’s mother Miliki Baruah is undergoing treatment at the Sanjeevani Hospital in Dibrugarh where she was admitted on Tuesday. Doctors attending on her said that her condition is improving gradually. But it would take time to ensure complete recovery. She was admitted in the ICU of the hospital following the complaint of breathing difficulty from Monday night.     

Security zone or Guwahati

Guwahati turns into a security fortress with army, police  and para military forces pounding on the vital spots fearing terror strike by L-e-T in the run up to the Independence Day celebration.Vital roads and rivers, rail and bus stations, temples and mosques, Dispur and Cotton College are being heavily guarded apart from air and river surveillance to thwart the inimical attempts.Police have inputs that a group of L-e-T militants is waiting to strike in the city.A dreaded militant popularly known as Raju is leading a group of armed youths targeting some major spots in the city.

Limestone-gate revelations

Senior CID officials are believed to have extracted more stunning revelations on the multi crore limestone scam that rocked the agriculture department.The revelations have come to light after the CID officials interrogated Jorhat deputy director along with an assistant inspector on Wednesday.They were picked up from Jorhat on Tuesday to be taken to Guwahati for detail interrogation.

Rajnath optimistic

Speakers after speakers blamed both Delhi and Dispur for the failure to implement the Assam Accord even 30 years after it was signed.Participating at an AASU-sponsored seminar on the historic pact in the national capital on Tuesday, the student body adviser Dr Samujjal Bhattacharya said that the principle clauses of the pact remains unimplemented.“Ït suggests lack of competency and good will of the government both in the state and Centre. Insurgents give I-Day boycott call

The United Liberation  Front of Asom along with four other north eastern proscribed outfits have given boycott call of the Independence Day.In a joint statement, the outfits urged the people of the entire region to avoid the red letter day celebrations in protest against colonial suppression.       

Efforts on to recover wreckage

Efforts are on to recover the Pawan Hans chopper a week after it crashed in Thincca in the remote jungle area of Arunachal Pradesh.The men deployed in the operation took several hours to land in the spot by a helicopter to recover the wreckage without any trace of Tipra DC Kamalesh Joshi along with two others.They found it difficult to reach the located spot because of an inclement weather. The chopper is believed to have crashed in the dense jungle on its way to Khunsa.   

CID to probe Louis Berger bribery

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has ordered CID probe into the Louis Berge scam where a foreign consultancy bribed a section of GMDA officials to get the contract of a multi crore water supply scheme.Gogoi announced the CID probe hours after he faced flake from the Opposition on the assembly on Monday.Earlier Gogoi asked additional chief secretary SC Das to look into the prime facie evidence, if any, in the allegation of bribery. 

AASU seminar in New Delhi

 Union home minister Rajnath Singh is attending a seminar in New Delhi on Tuesday on the Assam Accord implementation thirty years after it was signed.The All Assam Students Union is organizing the national level seminar to take the entire issue to the nation. AASU adviser Dr Samujja Bhattacharya, president Dipankar Nath, Lurinjyoti Gogoi were prominent among those who attended the meeting. The Accord was signed in 1985 by Rajiv Gandhi, AASU, SAGSP and the state government marking an end to the 6 year long agitation demanding the detection and deportation of the Bangladeshi immigrants. 

Nagas outside speak out

A week has passed since the Centre struck peace deal with NSCN-IM. But much to utter surprise the government has yet to publish the in detail raising doubts over the intention of both the parties.The Naga International Support Center asked the government to make the pact public to allay any apprehension.
