The place is not too far from the international border and the continuous influx has already become a matter of concern for the indigenous people living here. The recent attacks in Bangladesh, arrest of linkmen of jehiadis in different places like Bortolowa of Chirang district and training camp busted in Daoka Nagar in the same district have already proved the presence of international Islamic terrorism and they might extend their base crossing the border in Assam.
The BSU leader demands to the government of Assam and the administration concerned to tighten the security in BTAD and Kokrajhar in particular as it is the headquarter of BTC. The entry in the BTC Assembly Secretariat in Bodofa Nwgwr should be properly checked as terrorists might target those places.
