The post flood scene takes a pathetic turn in Tikira Chapori area where dairy farming has suffered a serious setback. More than 400 cows died soon after the outbreak of a disease which has taken an epidemic turn.
With 8000 cows in 77 sheds, hundreds of farmers have been earning bread and butter for years. In yet another incident, a huge herd of wild elephant has trampled many cowsheds on Saturday night.
