NDFB (S) informer held

Police apprehended a suspected over ground worker/sympathizer of NDFB-S identified as Paulina Basumatary 22, wife of a NDFB-S cadre Compounder alias Khaose from No 1 Nandipur village under Kachugaon police station in Kokrajhar district .

Police said Rs 15,000 (extorted from Audung Bazar area) have been recovered from her possession which was supposed to be handed over to NDB-S cadre.

She was working as a channel of communication between the NDFB-S cadres and over ground worker in that area through her husband. She has been playing a very important role in siphoning off extortion money to the outfit in Myanmar through the OGWs/sympathisers.

Tchoukball coaching camp in Kokrajhar

A 50-day Tchoukball coaching camp has started from Friday at Gaurang High School ground in Kokrajhar district. Bibekananda Choudhury, Deputy Commissioner, Kokrajhar cut the red-ribbon to inaugurate the coaching camp in the presence of Tchoukball player and organizers. NDFB-S cadre arrested

Security forces apprehended a cadre of NDFB-S from Dahalapara area of Kokrajhar district on Friday morning. Based on input about presence of NDFB-S cadre,a joint team of police and army launched a search operation along Dahalapara area under Kokrajhar PS on Friday morning and able to arrest cadre of the NDFB-S along with arms.
