ACTA Darrang and Udalguri zone meet held

The 4th annual meet of Assam College Teachers Association(ACTA) of Darrang and Udalguri zone was held at Kharupetia colllege with a day long programme on Thursday. Tangla College,Udalguri College,Sipajhar College,Mangaldai College and Kharupetia College teachers partcipated in the programme. The day long programme iniated with hoisting of flag by Dr. Sachindra Nath which was followed by an delegate session which was also presided over by Dr. Nath. Along with the teachers the Principal of all the 5 colleges also graced the event.

The teachers stressed on the need of holding Inter-College Exchange Lecture programmes,Extension education programme for the welfare of the students among others. In the presence of Taizuddin Ahmed ACTA central committee member a new executive body of ACTA for Darrang and Udalguri zone was also formed with Dr.Pranab Kr. Sarma of Mangaldai College as President,Dr. Kusum Kr. Goswami of Tangla College as Secretary,Dulendra Nath of Sipajhar College as Assistant Secretary along with Nazir Hussain Sarkar of Kharupetia College and Robinson Narzari of Udalguri College as Executive member,Nur Zaman of Kharupetia College as Treasurer and Anima Bhuyan Baruah of Tangla College as Women cell convenor.
