Sister Margaret school turn 21 year in education services
The Sister Margaret Nobel School, Kokrajhar turned 21 years on Monday in it's educational services in greater Kokrajhar region. The school observed it's foundation day on Monday with daylong programme scheduled in Kokrajhar.
The school, which is private manage English medium school in Kokrajhar, was founded in 1995 and since then giving educational services among society in the region. The school has been run by Sister Margaret Education Trust, organized the foundation day with befitting manner. Nur Islam Paramanik, District Programme Manager of MISE, SSA, Kokrajhar graced as chief guest on the occasion. Paramanik said that the school is running well educational services in the region because huge students are getting higher education in this school. He has urged parents of children to be dedicated while reaching quality education.
P Dasgupta, principal of the school min his welcome address highlighted the quality education as well giving emphasizes of human resource development among society said that his school is giving good quality of education through involving qualified and learned teachers in the school. He has appealed parent and guardian of the students to be conscious while guarding their generations. He said that good educational situation bringing is the prime vision of the school.
Kalyan Gupta, trustee of the school, H Narzary, vice president, Kokrajhar Press Club were prominent attendees on the occasion. Students of the school showcase beautiful dance programme, which attracted participated parent and students.

Kokrajhar: Hundreds of students from different schools and colleges held a candle light vigil in front of the Bodoland University today in protest against the Dokmoka incident. The students shouted slogans and demanded strict punishment to those involved in the lynching of two youths--Nilotpal Das and Abhijit Nath. The students also urged the government to take stern measures against the rumor mongers in the social media.
Kokrajhar: Seven students who came out with flying colours in the last Higher Secondary High School Leaving Certificate examinations from Kanthalguri village in Kokrajhar were felicitated by the Kanthalguri Village Committee here on Sunday. Kokrajhar: About twenty women entreprenurs were given away desktop publishing (DTP) system in Kokrajhar on Tuesday. BTC executive member Rajib Brahma handed over the DTP and some other materials among the beneficiaries in the presence huge attended gathering. The DTP systems were given away from the SC development Corporation of the state government. Kokrjajhar: An wild elephant reportdly found dead at Ultapani under Haltugaon forest division in Kokrajhar district on Monday. A team of forest officials led by Ultapani Range Dhiren Basumatary rushed to the spot and recovered the body from area. Body of the elephant has been sent for postmortem. Reason of the elephant death was not known so far.
Kokrajhar: An woman died and four others injuried in a road mishap at Dotma Gwmwbili area in Kokrajhar district on Friday evening. Injuried were admitted to Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital. According to eye witness, the woman died and serveral others sustained serious injuries following head on collision with an auto tempo and a bike coming from opposite directions. The persons who received injuries were boarded on the auto tempo, were on the way for Tulsibill Aminkata after attending NRC hearing in Kokrajhar. Kokrajhar: An intellectual meet was organised at Bodofa Cultural complex in Kokrajhar in Tuesday in connection with the celebration of 26th foundation day of the Dularai Bathou Mahasabha. The incident was took place at Santinagar(Ward No. 2) near Kokrajhar Circuit House on Wednesday evening. According to family members, the inciden came into light when victim minor expressed her pain in urine and was reveles to her monther. Family members admitted to Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital for medical test as well treatment. Following the FIR against incident, police arrested the accused in the evening.
