The demand for a CBI probe into Kalikho Pul’s revelations seems to have taken the centre stage of all political activities in Arunachal Pradesh.
A newly formed organization has moved governor PB Acharya demanding a thorough probe by CBI into the allegations by Kalikho in his Mere Veechar, a 60 paged booklet he was believed to have written just before his mysterious death.
The Mere Veechar Andolan Committee has alleged that the police officer who probe the hugely sensational case in Itanagar has vanished after he submitted the report.
The committee members have demanded resignation of chief minister Pema Khandu, his deputy and tourism parliamentary secretary whom Pul alleged to have embazzled money to the tune of crores of rupees.
The committee moved the governor a couple of days after one of Pul’s wives filed an FIR for reinvestigation of the case in the light of the revelations
