Zubeen Garg received death threat in social media when the most popular singer was performing in Dibrugarh on Friday.

A Facebook status warning that the singer would be shot dead from a point blank range went viral in the evening forcing the district authority to step up security in the function were the most popular singer was performing.

The threat was posted in the facebook by some Kai Khaplang alias Tultul Baglary who threatened to shot dead the dinger from.10 metre away from him..

He received the death threat hardly a week after he stepped down from a stage in Guwahati for disallowing to perform in Hindi.

Rhino horn verification underway

A panel of experts on Thursday started verifying the genuineness of the rhino horns stored inside the treasuries in four districts. Led by Mohan Chandra Malakar, the committee started the process in Golaghat at the Circuit House. Blast rattles Tinsukia in I-Day prep
