Assam flood scene turns worse on Saturday claiming ten live during the last 24 hours. After a brief respite the Brahmaputra and it's tributeries are overflowing to sumberge at least 15 district.
According to government, Kokrajhar alone has lost six people during since Thursday. Two people have been washed in Dhemaji and one each in Marigaon and and Lakhimpur.
The worst hit district this time is Majuli where surging waters believed to washed away a huge part of am embankment displacing many people.
Flood waters have been working no less havoc in Kaziranga where the animals are shifting to highland to get rid of this perennial problem.
