Sahitya pensioner Chittaranajan hospitalized, face financial suffer

 Bodo community’s greatest novelist,Sahitya Pensioner Chittaranjan Mashahary has been hospitalised due to aillment two-day back at Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital. Mushahary has been suffering from multiple-diseases in his 76 years-old. He also face financial hardship for medical treatment.

 Mashahary has been ailing since two-months back and passing the days without food. He has been admitted at Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital on Friday on serious condition. Mashahary has been authored nearly 50 books in Bodo language and contributed a lot in Bodo literary, including many novel books. The boooks are included Pwimal Mijink,Call Girl,Banashri,Sujata,Dukhuni Lwithw Barwi,Bari Konani Bibar etc.

 He was awarded Sahitya Pension from Assam government for his tremendous literary creation in the state. He also given away Pramad Chandra Brahma Literary award from BTC administration in 2014. He was also recipient of Sameswari literary award from Bodo sahitya sabha,besides received felicitations from different organisation and functions in his life.

 Mashahary has been facing financial hardships while taking treatment as he belonged to very poor background. Despite he poor,he has been writing a lot towards uplift of Bodo literary field. Mashahary’s sons informed that they admitted him on Friday when his health is seeing deteriorated.

 ‘We are facing very financial hardship to give medical treatment him’, said sons.

 Greatest Bodo novelist Mashahary is on serious ailling at civil hopsital since two-three days and his family is shouldering financial crisis while giving medical treatment for him, said a relative at hospital.He has urged well wisher and government to kind extend financial support him to give higher treatment.

Apurna Narzary, an international women's football player, has been nominated for the Emerging Player award for 2022-23 by the Sports & Youth Welfare department of the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Narzary has represented India in several international events and is the daughter of Biswajit Narzary of Khagrabari village in Kokrajhar district. Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) team won the trophy defeating Lai Autonomous Council (LADC) of Mizoram 1-0 in the final match of inter sixth schedule premier league -2022 being held at SAI SAG center,Kathalguri Titaguri in Kokrajhar district.
