Healing fest gathers steam in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: More and more people are pouring in to participating in the ongoing prayer and healing festival at Titaguri Bhawanipur ground in Kokrajhar district who keep praying for peace and integrity. On the third day of the festival on Thursday, Kampa Borgoyary, BTC deputy chief graced as guest hoped that the prayer and healing is giving way to get healthy and remedial measures through prayer and healing.


Nearly 20,000 devotees and followers from the BTAD districts are attending the festival every day to take prayer and healing tradition for meeting healthy life among society, which was organized by inter denominational Christian groups to provide prayer and healing facilities to the believers of the Christian as well common citizens.


Different sub-committees over 250 volunteers are busy in their performing duty and responsible while making smooth organizing of the festival.  Over 200 participants, claimed to have received relief from their affected diseases or problems till today starting from Tuesday. The prayer and healing session offered their devotion to lord Jesus to provide relief or solution through deep belief and devotion.


  Rev Abel Jacob from Rajasthan is attending as chief speaker on the festival day and providing prayers for the disease affected persons on the day. Hagrama Mohilary, BTC chief, Pramila Rani Brahma, Assam forest minister are attending as guests on the concluding day on Friday.
