As the blas took place, a section of agitated people spared no time in prowling over the Congress banners and festoons in the city areas in protest against the failure of the Congress-led government.

It was to be mentioned that after the blast police and even fire service arrived lately which fueled the anger of the common people. Police Vehicles were burnt including one ambulance of GNRC and fire service vehicle.

DIET teachers visit Sainik School Goalpara

As part of educational research and training curriculum prescribed by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), 92 trainee teachers from District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Barpeta, one of the pioneer government educational institutes in Assam, visited Sainik School Goalpara ( SSG) on October Thursday. Annual academic day at Sainik School Goalpara

Sainik School Goalpara ( SSG)  held its “Annual Academic Day” for the session 2015-16 on 28 Aug 16. ABSU observes anti terrorism day

As part of an Exposure Trip organised by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Meghalaya, 110 students of tenth standard from two RMSA sponsored schools in North Garo Hills, namely, Adokgiri RMSA Secondary School and Chotcholja RMSA Secondary School visited Sainik School Goalpara ( SSG) , Assam on 23 Jul 16.
