More than 24 hours have passed but the information and where about of Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister is yet to be found. Some sources from the CM office said that he his safe but no one could find where is Dorji Khandu,CM of Arunachal Pradesh.
Three helicopters and more than 300 army people are being engaged in the search operation for the CM. Apart from Indian Army, Indian Air force, Sasastra Seema Bal (SSB) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and others are also actively engaged in search operation of chief minister. Communication has been made with the government of Bhutan and they have provided permission for search and rescue in there areas. Meanwhile two union ministers have reached Guwahati to get updates about the entire incident.
Bad weather has become hurdled this morning as search operation got some challenges due to this. But as search operation is on it is expected that the information would be collected soon. It is to be mentioned that Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has also come into the scene as they have engaged satellites to take picture and help in the search operation of missing CM.
Yesterday there was confusion in the afternoon with claims made by Arunachal Governor and then CM’s office and Defence spokesperson. But the fact till now is that there is no correct information about the helicopter for which operation to find the CM and others are on. It has bought confusion amongst the people of the region as there were different comments from different sources. As the search operation is on in full swing, it is expected that latest information and authentic information would be available soon.

It's same like the scenerio of Bin Laden. Wheathr US government got him alive or dead none knows. But Obama knows very well dead Bin Laden s very mush riskier issue than the alive one. So speculation is there that he might had been caught much before by bribing some agents of ISI; same way whether Khandu had been kidnapped by NSCN (K) or not, none can confirm excpet the Indian government. The rest is just speculation and rumr. may be.
Dissidence seems to have resurfaced in AGP when a section of the regional party leaders are dead opposed to a slew of move by the BJP-led government. Guwahati police on Friday have arrested three persons including a women hours after they kidnapped a minor girl from the city on Thursday. A group of senior police officials has been interrogating the trio to extract more information on the kidnapping network. They are believed to have confessed a growing network with NDFB-S to make money. The incident took place near Dispur where a house maid along with a minor girl went traceless from 12 noon. The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on 25 August apprehended four cattle smugglers from the Indo-Bangladesh border area. Days back, the BSF troops under Guwahati frontier seized a large number of cattle heads meant for smuggling to Bangladesh from the same Dhubri international border locality. “The cattle smugglers were identified as Rahim Ali (age 39 years), Jahikul Islam (57), Muktadul Hassan (33) and Sahidul Islam (24). All of them hail from Mankachar in South Salmara district of Assam. The BSF troop caught them red-handed while they were trying to smuggle the cattle to Bangladesh. Amid hectic lobbying in New Delhi for ministerial berth, Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal is preparing to expand his cabinet in a day or two. Sonowal is believed to have prepared a list. But it has yet to be approved by the party high command. Sources told Assam Times that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has been trying to ensure berth for his own men. Nature conservation organisations like Wildflowers, CCER and Deopahar Researve Demand Committee hails the latest order of National Green Tribunal (NGT) on demolition of a wall blocking an elephant corridor near the Kaziranga National Park. On last Wednesday the tribunal asked the Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NFL), a public sector company, to demolish a 2.2 kilometre long wall blocking the elephant corridor within one month. The NGT proposed that the township of refinery ‘cannot be allowed’ as it comes in a “No Development Zone”. Journalists’ Forum Assam (JFA) strongly condemns the murder of a senior journalist based in Junagadh of Gujarat and asked the authority to nab the perpetrators and deliver justice to the victim family. The forum expressed shocks that the miscreants had entered to the bureau office of Gujarati newspaper 'Jai Hind', where Kishore Dave was working on Monday night and stabbed him to death. ULFA-I has demanded Rs 1 crore as ransom from a BJP leader in Tinsukia district to ensure safe release of his son they kidnapped early this month. In a video message to BJP MLA from Sadiya Balin Chetia, ULFA-I members asked Tinsukia district top BJP leader Ratneswar Maran to receive the amount from Chetia saying that Kuldeep has been working for Chetia for long. ULFA released the video footage of Kuldeep in their custody 15 days after ULFA sent a demand notice to the BJP MLA who took up the case with Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
