Operation CM for missing Khandu


More than 24 hours have passed but the information and where about of Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister is yet to be found. Some sources from the CM office said that he his safe but no one could find where is Dorji Khandu,CM of Arunachal Pradesh.


Three helicopters and more than 300 army people are being engaged in the search operation for the CM. Apart from Indian Army, Indian Air force, Sasastra Seema Bal (SSB) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and others are also actively engaged in search operation of chief minister. Communication has been made with the government of Bhutan and they have provided permission for search and rescue in there areas. Meanwhile two union ministers have reached Guwahati to get updates about the entire incident.


Bad weather has become hurdled this morning as search operation got some challenges due to this. But as search operation is on it is expected that the information would be collected soon. It is to be mentioned that Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has also come into the scene as they have engaged satellites to take picture and help in the search operation of missing CM.


Yesterday there was confusion in the afternoon with claims made by Arunachal Governor and then CM’s office and Defence spokesperson. But the fact till now is that there is no correct information about the helicopter for which operation to find the CM and others are on. It has bought confusion amongst the people of the region as there were different comments from different sources. As the search operation is on in full swing, it is expected that latest information and authentic information would be available soon.

It's same like the scenerio of Bin Laden. Wheathr US government got him alive or dead none knows. But Obama knows very well dead Bin Laden s very mush riskier issue than the alive one. So speculation is there that he might had been caught much before by bribing some agents of ISI; same way whether Khandu had been kidnapped by NSCN (K) or not, none can confirm excpet the Indian government. The rest is just speculation and rumr. may be.

On Tuesday, the influential organization will further block the national Highway No 37 in protest against the controversial move of the Modi Government. On July 8, they would block the rails opposing the move.

The mortal remains of Isak Chishi Swu is set to be flown to Nagaland on Wednesday two days after the revolutionary died at a New Delhi based hospital. The lifeless NSCN-(IM) leader would be flown to Dimapur before lifting to his ancestral village for last rites. Hundreds of from the north eastern region have reached the Nagaland House in the national capital on Wednesday to pay their last respect to the revolutionary leader in the evening.

Amid a state wide brouhaha on the move to auction 12 oil fields in Assam, both AGP and BJP have been taking contradictory positions on the sensitive issue. BJP leaders and ministers have strongly advocated the move saying that it would, in fact, help Assam claim the rights over its own resources. “We are bound to endorse the move. We can’t oppose it. This is our policy. These oil fields won’t help Assam do anything. We would in turn get money from these non profitable oilfield,” said a BJP leader. The United Liberation Front of Asom (I) has pledged to prevent the move to auction 12 oil fields in Assam. In a strongly worded statement, the outfit’s publicity secretary Aronodoy Asom called it an anti-national steps and that the nation and its wealth are not at all safe at the hands of Delhi. He said that the people in power at Dispur should not allow it to happen in the name of royalty. “If Britain can pull out of the European Union with the help of a referendum why Delhi and Dispur can’t resolve the Indo-Assam conflict?,” said the ULFA(I) leader.     
In a major blow for NSCN(IM) and its negotiation for a greater Nagalim, Isaac Chishi Swu passed away on Tuesday.
