Guwahati police have arrested a fraud on Wednesday after he duped a section of people promising chopper service to remote areas of Assam.
Azara police arrested the fraud, identified as Manosij Roy who is the director with Rus Aviators got lakhs of rupees cleared from Dima Hasao autonomous council citing preparedness to introduce the service in the hills district.
Police arrested him from Azara in Guwahati on the basis of the complaint lodged by the Dima Hasao autonomous council authorities. Roy was later remanded to judicial custody after he was produced before the court.
