Sahitya Academy award winner Chandana Goswami felicitated

Sahitya Academy, 2012 award winner Chandana Goswami was felicitated with bouquet of flowers, citations and mementoes by The Arena Animation, Panbazar along with People’s Friend Foundation, a leading socio-cultural organization of the state, at a function here in the city on Wednesday. Sasank Goswami and Alaka Goswami from The Arena Animation, Panbazar and Ujjal Borah from People’s Friend Foundation felicitated the author. Receiving the felicitation, the writer said that she would continue to write the real issues of people and the Assamese Society. Mentioning her inclination towards history, she stated that she would write more novels based on history. It is worth mentioning that she has been writing her second novel ‘Koyum’ on the history of Mising tribe.
