The Chief Minister made it clear that he is all set to be the chief minister even for the next term if his health be by his side.

A confident Gogoi talked about the developmental works that was done in Guwahati city, and sees no reason why the people will not vote the congress in the forth coming Council election. He dismissed all the TV channel reports that have shown the development works in very poor light. “Let the TV do the negative publicity and the people will keep voting the congress” said the Chief Minister.
