Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi's son Gaurav married Elizabeth Colburn, an English girl at a high profile wedding ceremony in Delhi where traditional Ahome formalities were observed on Wednesday night. Elizabeth's father handed over his daughter following the traditional Ahom chaklong formalities performed by a group of moulung headed by Dr Jogen Phukan at Sunheribag. Congress president Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul Gandhi along with top political leaders are expected to attend the reception on Thursday.
