Siksha Karmachari stages strike

The Asom Siksha Karmachari Aikya Mancha demanding re-amendment of the Venture Education Institution(Provincialisation of Services) Act, 2011-12 in the coming session of the state Assembly and rectify the anomalies found in the 1st phage provincialisation of schools, staged two hours sit-in-strike at Rashmela field in Kokrajhar on Monday.

 The manch members with banner,festoone,placards demanded re-amendment of the act and  removed all anomalies in the provincialisation of schools in the first phase.

Pradeep Kumar Bargayary,president of the Asom Sikshak Karmachari Aikya Mancha, Kokrajhar district unit said that the sttae government provincialised the venture education institutions in the state after a long gap of 21 years,yet it has been remained anomalies. He demanded modifcations of the act to include all ventures education institution of the state as some schools were shown non- recommended for error in the management category of DISE data of SSA.

He has also warned for vogrous agitation if the department not take initiative measure on their demands.
