Students Attend Employability Skills Session in Bongaigaon
Career mentor Ranjan K. Baruah urged students to develop employability and communication skills during an interactive session at Chilaray Jatiya Vidhyalaya.
A one-day awareness programme on employability skills and career readiness was held at Chilaray Jatiya Vidhyalaya (CJV), North Salmara, in Bongaigaon district on Monday.
The session was conducted by Ranjan K. Baruah of the North East Youth Foundation, a career mentor and skill trainer, who spoke on the importance of developing employability skills alongside academic learning.
Addressing Class X students, Baruah explained how communication, problem-solving and other workplace skills improve career prospects and help young people secure suitable employment opportunities.
He encouraged students to strengthen their English communication skills, saying effective communication enhances self-confidence and opens up better career opportunities.
The interactive programme was attended by Class X students and teachers of the school. Arun Ch. Ray of Chilaray Jatiya Vidhyalaya moderated the session.
The programme was organised to create awareness among students about the importance of skill development and career planning at an early stage.
