A freshmen social was scheduled to be held on Friday, August 22 at the Mazbat College in Udalguri district of the BTAD.
In an emergent meetingheld with the college authorities, the secretary of the ABSU Mazbat College Unit, Swmdwn Basumatary postponed the event due to the 24-hour Assam Bandh called by the Songbijit faction of the NDFB.
A finaldate shall be announced and made public in a day or two he said.
