Mahanta’s health improves

Hiten Mahanta’s health condition marginally improved on Tuesday. But he needs more treatment at the GNRC Hospitals where he has been undergoing treatment for the last several days. The senior journalist would have to stay in ICU for the next couple of days.

Doctors attending on him said that his treatment  would be lengthy.
Mahanta was brought to the hospital in a critical condition as he suffered multiple head injuries after falling on the road in the Chunchali area in the city.

Journalists’ Forum Assam (JFA) has appealed to Mahanta’s well wishers to support the family at this time of crisis.
His family members may be advised at mobile No -94351 43289.

Meanwhile, Ajmal Foundation has donated rupees 20,000/- to the family members on Monday evening supporting the ongoing treatment of Mahanta
in the hospital.
