BP unified with BPF

In a well gesture of party strength of BPF ahead assembly election in Bodoland region of Assam, a grand unification of BPPF with BPF under the leadership of Rabiram Narzary, president of BPPF was held on SUnday at Tulungapuri Dotma if Lower Assam's Kokrajhar district. 

Narzary, was accompanied party general secretary and thousands of party activists and supporters, declared party's unified with BPF to create more development and unity among society in the region.  He said that his party come into unified to meet healthy and integrated through working of peace and prosperity. 

Hagrama Mohilary, BPF supremo and BTC chief, party MP, MLA, senior party leaders were also present on the unification function. 

It is to be noted that both Narzary and Mohilary factionised in BPPF and BPF party in 2005 after signing historical Bodo Accord in 2003. 

Mohilary has welcome Rabiram Narzary and party members in the meeting said that now his party become a grand unified. He also said that his party will score good result in the assembly election

BJP leaders join BPF

In a well development gesture of ruling BPF party ahead Assembly election early next 2016 year, three BJP leaders today formally joined in BPF at a programme held here at Barhoongka AC ground in Kokrajhar today. BPF leaders welcome and felicitated newly joined members with traditional Aronai. New committee of Dotma primary BSS formed

A new exceutive committee of the Dotma Primary Bodo Sahitya Sabha was formed with coinciding 20th annual conference and celebration of  the Bodo Thunlai San(Bodo Literary Day) on Monday here at Dotma HS Secondary School ground in Kokrajhar. The BSS primary committee hold a delegate session on the occasion in connection with its annual conference and formed new executive committee primary committee with Argeng Khunggur Basumatary as president and Dibakar Brahma as secretary respectively. Bodo litearay day observed in Bodoland University

A lecture on Dr Suniti Kumar Chatterji was organised on the occasion of Bodo Thunlai San(Bodo Literary Day) on 16th November(Monday) at Bodoland University ground in Kokrajhar. The observation was jointly organised by Bodoland University and Kokrajhar Govt College to mark the Bodo Thunlai San with Dr Dinonath Basumatary in the chair. National Press Day observed

Kokrajhar Press Club has also observed the National Press Day along with rest of the country here at club office premises in Kokrajhar today.  The observation was organized by Kokrajhar Press Club in association with with BTC Information and Public Relations (IPR) department.  Ajit Kumar Basumatary, president of the club hoisted club flag while Kishore Sarkar paid homage to journalist, who were sacrifice their lives for the caused of freedom of press and services.  An open session was also organized on the day chaired by Ajit Basumatary, president of the club.  Ansuma Mohilary, Kokrajhar DIPRO was prominent atttendies among others on the occasion. 

NDFB-S arrested

Security forces have claimed to captured another cadre of NDFB-S from Pekuanala area under Kachugaon police station late last night in Kokrajhar district.  Based on a information about presence of the militant outfit, As same Police, CRPF and SSB jawans conducted a joint operation and managed to arrest a cadre of the organization.  The arrested cadre was identified as Nicholas Borgoyary of Sarabill.  A country made riffle and two live ammunition were recovered from him.   

BPF to occupy Dispur

BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary has claimed that his party will occupy Dispur in  the ensuing 2016 Assembly election and no any party can form government without BPF in the state.  Mohilary while speaking the reporters after a party meeting held here Bodofa Cultural Complex, Kokrajhar on Sunday said that his party will win in all 16 seats of BTAD region, besides getting more seats in the state. He said that his party was working for all round development of the people in the region among all sections of communities. He has appealed to maintain peace and harmony among all sections of communities so that social integration can not be disrupted.   

Childline launched

Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner Madhav Prasad Sarma launched the Childline 1098 vehicle, a child rescue vehicle, an initiative y the district administration in association with Nedan Foundation on occasion of Children Day on Saturday in Kokrajhar. The Children's Day was observed here at Govt Higher Secondary & MP School ground in Kokrajhar to mark the birth anniversary of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru. NDFB(S) killed

A hardcore cadre of NDFB(S) was killed in an encounter with security forces at Dwigudung area under Runikata PS in Chirang district on Saturday. The slain militant cadre was identified as Jaola, a wanted cadre of the security forces.  The cadre was involved with carnage on Adivasi in December 23 last year 2014 in Kokrajhar district and NIA had lodged three cases on him. A 9 mm pistol, live ammunition recovered from him.

NDFB-S celebrates 29th Boroland Army Raising day

The Songbijit faction of the National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB-S) once again show their well-built strength of the organization. The militant outfit organisation observed 29th Boroland Army Raising day at an undisclosed soil on Saturday. Mass dharna for New States

Thousands of activists from various region of the country, who are demanding separate states under Article 2 and 3 of the Indian constitution including Bodoland, Bhundelkhand,Gorkhaland, Dimaraji, Karbiland etc participated in the mass dharna programme at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Saturday.  The agitators shouted slogans demanding early creations of new states across the country through forming Reorganization of States of India and meet a healthy and good governance in the country.
