BP unified with BPF

In a well gesture of party strength of BPF ahead assembly election in Bodoland region of Assam, a grand unification of BPPF with BPF under the leadership of Rabiram Narzary, president of BPPF was held on SUnday at Tulungapuri Dotma if Lower Assam's Kokrajhar district. 

Narzary, was accompanied party general secretary and thousands of party activists and supporters, declared party's unified with BPF to create more development and unity among society in the region.  He said that his party come into unified to meet healthy and integrated through working of peace and prosperity. 

Hagrama Mohilary, BPF supremo and BTC chief, party MP, MLA, senior party leaders were also present on the unification function. 

It is to be noted that both Narzary and Mohilary factionised in BPPF and BPF party in 2005 after signing historical Bodo Accord in 2003. 

Mohilary has welcome Rabiram Narzary and party members in the meeting said that now his party become a grand unified. He also said that his party will score good result in the assembly election

Barhoongka beat Dihung at Kagrabari

Barhoongka AC from Kokrajhar beat Dihung SC from Kagrabari 1-0 in Tuesday's match of Tikendra Brahma and Aolang Brahma memorial football trophy at Kagrabari ground in Kokrajhar. Both team remained goal less in the first half. Pangjaphu Kwi of Barhoongka scored lone goal against Dihung in 69 minutes of second half and led the team to win 1-0. Jothai SC from Gendrabil will take on Global FC from Gossaigaon on October 22. 

Heroic welcome for Proneeta

 Lakhipur Alongbar lifted the Bigrai Mushahary (Daokha) memorial football trophy defeating Simbargaon Bithorai Club 4-0 in Monday’s final match at Bismuri ground in Kokrajhar. For Alongbar, Pideve Basumatary scored first goal in 33 minutes and led the team 1-0 in the first half. Army claims peace in BTAD areas

Army claim to have restored peace in BTAD areas where the people of all walks of life have joined the process. Red Horn division GOC CP Mohanty said in Kokrajhar on Sunday that army the crackdown against the militants have been paying dividend which is why, peace is back to the restive BTAD areas.In his speech at the BTC- Army Goodwill Football Premiere League at SAI ground in Kokrajhar he said the match would create congenial atmosphere among society in the entire area. He further said that the sports talents would be selected to the prominent clubs across the country where they would get government job.

Global FC from Gossaigaon defeated Bongaigaon XI Star 2-0 in the Tikendra Brahma and Aolang Brahma memorial football trophy being played in Sunday's match at Kagrabari ground in Kokrajhar.For Global, Arjun Mardi scored two goals in 9 minutes and 11 minutes and led the match 2-0 in the first half. Bongaigaon tried to equalized the match, but failed to goal in the game. Kokrajhar Rhinos lift premier league

No more gambling: ABSU

The All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) of Kokrajhar dsitrict unit submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner, Kokrajhar & superintendent of police demanding prohibiting organising of gambling and etc. at various melas during puja occasions in Kokrajhar  disrict.It was in a statement by Premjit Narzary and Nion Mushahry,secretary of the ABSU  Kokrajhar district unit.
