Three Udalguri rank holders feted

The Udalguri district administration formally feted three rank holders of the district in the recently announced HSLC and HS (Arts) examination at an official ceremony held at sub-divisional HQ at Bhergaon on June 5. The felicitation ceremony was held at the conference hall of the sub-divisional office, Bhergaon. Sadhana Hojai, D.C, Udalguri presided over the felicitation ceremony which was anchored by Udayaditya Gogoi, SDO(C), Bhergaon. The three rank holders namely-Subham Pator of Arunodoi Academy, Tangla (14th rank) and Mohan Pradhan of Diamond English School, Harisinga (20th rank) in the HSLC examination; Mousumi Baruah of National Pioneer Junior College, Tangla (8th rank) in the HS (Arts) examination were felicitated each with a packet of books, Gamocha and a tree saplings. Lwmsrao Daimari, EM, BTC announced that each rank holders of BTC area would receive an amount of Rupees two lakh each.Nerson Boro,Dy Speaker, BTC council; ND Pathak, ADC, Udalguri; DN Hazarika, SDO(S), Udalguri also spoke a few words on the occasion while Bhaskarjyoti Manta,Project Director, DRDA and ADC, Udalguri;Nabin Chandra Boro,Inspector of Schools, Udalguri attended the felicitation ceremony as the distinguished guests. Principals, vice principals of all the three institutions and parents of the three rank holders were also present. Earlier in the morning Maheswar Boro, MLA, Kalaigaon planted tree saplings at the campus of the SDO(C) office premises.
