NDFB-S cadre held

Security forces belonging to Assam Police and Army arrested, at a join operation arrested a cadre of NDFB-S from Patabari area under Runikhata PS in Chirang district on Wednesday . The cadre was identified as Swmkhwr Kaklary alias K Saiklom. An Insus riffle, magazine and 60 live rounds recovered from  him.

Security Forces Badminton Tournament concludes

Kokrajhar: The Second edition of the Security Forces  Badminton Tournament was concluded on Saturday evening with a three day programme scheduled being held at Kokrajhar District Sports Association(KDSA) Indooor stadium in Kokrajhar.The tournament created sporting amusement among security forces who are deployed in the region. Kokrajhar: A practice session of the Assam state Tchoukball players is underway at Haltugaon Tinali ground in Kokrajhar district to participate in the ensuing 12th senior national Tchoukball championship to be held at Sonapur in Guwahati on first week of the January(2019) next year. One died, five injuried in electrocution

Kokrajhar: One labourer died and five others have received serious injuries due to electrocution incident  at Boro Bhatarmari in Kokrajhar town today morning. Injuries are immediately rushed to hospital in Kokrajhar. Accordig to injury persons, the labourers were involved with installing electric pole in the village when the incident occurred by 10.30 am today.  The electrocution left one labourer died and five others sustained serious injuries.
