NDFB (S) informer held

Police apprehended a suspected over ground worker/sympathizer of NDFB-S identified as Paulina Basumatary 22, wife of a NDFB-S cadre Compounder alias Khaose from No 1 Nandipur village under Kachugaon police station in Kokrajhar district .

Police said Rs 15,000 (extorted from Audung Bazar area) have been recovered from her possession which was supposed to be handed over to NDB-S cadre.

She was working as a channel of communication between the NDFB-S cadres and over ground worker in that area through her husband. She has been playing a very important role in siphoning off extortion money to the outfit in Myanmar through the OGWs/sympathisers.

Renowned literary critic Prof. Ganesh N. Kokrajhar police arrested a lineman of NDFB-S from Jharbari village under Patgaon police outpost today.He was identified as Birkhang Narzary and recovered cash 39,000 along with mobile handset,passbook,a bike. Security forces arrested a cadre of NDFB-S from Serfanguri area in Kokrajhar district on Thursday. The cadre was apprehended during search operation that carried out while getting information about presence of militant cadres. He was identified as Salen Basunatary alias B Sankhang.
