Raas Mahotsav gets underway at Tangla

63rd edition of Raas Mahotsav has got underway from November 14 on the premises of Raas field at Tangla Kukurakata in Tangla. Tangla Nonaipara Sarvajanik Raas Puja Committee is the oldest in the town established in 1954 has taken the initiative.The whole area has been erected up with electrified gates and with sophisticated lightning devices. The Mahotsav will come to an end on November 20. Various religious and cultural programme will be organized during these days.

On the other hand 20th Raas Mahotsav would be celebrated at Barjalah Raas field by Tangla Anchalik Raas Udjapan committee.The Mahotsav which underwent from November 13 will come to an end on November 20. Various lightning works and electrified gates have adorned the Raas field. The massive eye-catching idols have thronged huge gathering of people. Religious hymns and cultural programmes are scheduled to be held .
