A special assembly session in Nagaland is set to confirm the strength of TR Zeliang who took oath as chief minister at the end of a high voltage political drama in the north eastern state.
The special session is taking place in Kohima at 9.39 in the morning where the new chief minister is sure of support from 48 legislators in the house of 60.
The Naga Peoples’ Front, which expelled Zeliang has already issued a single lune whip not to support the former leader who poached a section of legislators to resume as the chief minister a couple of months later.
Governor PB Acharya will administer oath to the new cabinet ministers on Friday evening after clearing the floor test.
