The Delhi police have arrested a Supreme Court lawyer from Assam a couple of days after his car rammed into a biker after an altercation who died in the hospital.
Identified as Rohit Krishna Mahanta, was arrested on Friday hours after the youth who sustained injury died at a hospital. The incident took place near AIIMS last week where Mahanta misbehaved with Gurpreet Singh as he opposed smoking just beside him.
An angry, who was allegedly found drunk, attacked the photography student and later his car rammed into the two wheeler where Gurpreet was riding on. Gurpreet received serious injury and police booked Mahanta. But later, He was released on bail.
He was rearrested after Gurpreet succumbed to injuries. Police investigation is going on.
