Workshop on "Science, Engineering and Technology for Sustainable Development" at GIMT Tezpur

Tezpur: Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), situated at Dekargaon, Tezpur is organizing a three day workshop on ‘Science, Engineering and Technology for Sustainable Development’ from 20th January to 22nd January, 2020 in co-ordination with Assam Science and Technology University and sponsored by TEQIP-III (Technical Ement Progducation Quality Improveram).

The workshop consists of a line of competitions.

The first competition will host students from various schools and colleges in which the students will showcase science models related to the theme.

On day two an innovative idea presentation competition will be organized among the students of undergraduate (Science/ Engineering) and Engineering Diploma courses while on the final day, there will be an essay competition.

The participants of essay competition will compete in two categories. First category will consist of students from ninth standard to twelfth standard and the second category will consist of students from undergraduate courses. The winners will be awarded with attractive prize money and certificates.
