Relic of Saint Don Bosco visits Golaghat

As a part of Saint Don Bosco’s 200th birth anniversary celebration the relic of Saint Don Bosco has arrived in Golaghat’s Sacred Heart School today. Don Bosco, the great saint of young was born on August 16, 1815 in Italy and died on January 31 1888. He started great educational institutions for the disadvantaged all over the world.

After the government of India Don Bosco runs the largest number of technical schools. There was great demand by his admirers that his body be taken world over for his 200th Birth Anniversary. As a part of this world tour, which has started in 2009, his body has been divided into nine parts and his right hand falls on the part of the Asian countries. His body is welcomed and prayed for by the Presidents , Prime Ministers and admirers all over the world. His body will remain in Golaghat till May 21.
