Best Teacher Award 2012

Sri Keshab Ch. Kalita, an assistant teacher of Modartola High School has been chosen for Best Teacher Award, 2012 for his excellence in the field of school mathematics education, instituted by Paresh Baishya Foundation, a registered charitable trust for enrichment of education, journalism & social change. The award carries a certificate of excellence and a trophy besides cash. The award will be given away at a function to be held at Guwahati on 15th September, 2012.

IFWJ meet ends

The closing ceremony of the three-day working meeting of the Indian Federation of Working Journalist was held at North Guwahati College, Kamrup on 16th March.About 150 delegates from all over India attended the ceremony.Earlier Kamal Baishya, DC i/c Kamrup inaugurated the ceremony.In the evening a cultural night was also held.In the same function Paresh Baishya,an eminent Journalist ,K Vikram Rao, President of IFWJ and Prof.Bhairab Sharma  were felicitated in the function.

New book on Hajo

Destination Hajo, a book on Hajo, written by eminent writer and educationist Dr. Dayananda Pathak was released on Monday at Suren Das College, Hajo in presence of eminent locals and intellectuals of entire Hajo circle. Sarbeswar Barua, eminent educationist released the book. The book is published by Director of Information and Public Relations, Govt. of Assam.  

Saralatar Din celebrated

The 3rd session of ‘Saralatar Din’ was observed on D.K.College, Mirza on January 2 on the occasion of Dr. Upen Ch. Rabha Hakacham’s Birthday. The occasion was presided over by Dr. P. Nomination invited for Best School Award

Paresh Baishya Foundation, a trust for enrichment of education and journalism, has invited nomination papers for Best School Award, 2013.The school having 100% success rate in the H.S.L.C or CBSE final examinations from 2004 to 2013 continuously would be eligible for the award. Shiksha Charjya for Dr.Dayananda Pathak

Dr. Dayananda Pathak an eminent educationist has been awarded the Shiksha Charya title by the Paresh Baishya Foundation. The honour was given away at a function held at Guwahati Press Club on April 6. Dr. Jiban Dutta Barua Felicitated

Eminent Physician and writer Dr. Jiban Dutta Barua was feliciated by Hajor Batori on Septmber 11 at a function held at ITA Complex, Guwahati.
