Sadhana Das passes away

Sadhana Das (69 years), wife of a benevolent social worker of Jorhat Jiten Das has left her mortal body on 21st June, 2007 at Dispur Hospital, Guwahati. She has left behind her husband, her only son Mr. Jyotimoi Das and her two daughters along with many other relatives.

Raijor Dol starts campaign in Dhemaji

Raijor dol, the new political initiation lead by KMSS in support of seventy different indigenous organizations of Assam has a big motorbike rally in Dhemaji on Tuesday. Guwahati: Police team probing the sub inspector recruitment scam arrested one of the main accused PK Dutta on Tuesday.  The retired DIG was arrested from along Indo-Nepal border early in the morning. BJP suspends Dibon Deka
