Shameful: police recruitment test cancelled
Guwahati: In a bizzer incident that forces the BJP government to hang it's head in shame, the state police recruitment board for selection of Sub Inspector has cancelled the statewide written test midway citing leakage of question papers on Sunday.
According to information, the examination which began at 12 noon was suddenly cancelled at 1 PM across the state as soon as the question papers went viral through social media. But the source of leakage has yet to be identified yet.
Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal who is in New Delhi asked DGP BJ Mahanta to find out the culprit behind the leakage of question papers.
"We are utterly dissapointed. This government is not at all capable even conduct an interview peacefully. That too in home department where CM himself is at the helms," said Bokul Saikia in Sivasagar, who was one of the candidates.
Junmoni Bora, another candidate in Guwahati said that the government's role is doubtful. "Why police could not instantly identify the source of leakage of question papers? I doubted these when the interview process was handed over to private recruitment firms. "
