CM to recommend CBI probe!

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi is preparing to recommend CBI probe into the Louis Berger scam where a Canada-based firm alleged to have bribed some ministers and GMDA officers for a multi crore water supply project in 2001.

Talking to Assam Times, CMO officials confirmed criminal conspiracy in preliminary report of enquiry by additional chief secretary  SC Das.

Acting on this preliminary administrative report, the chief minister ordered CID probe. But stunned by the criticism from the Opposition parties along with many organizations, Gogoi is expected to recommend CBI probe into the multi crore scam.
