Citizens from irrespective of caste, creed, languages and NGOs hailed the Helping Hands charity event, initiated by Young minds of the society in the region igniting humanity, Helping Hand trying to raising fund to help out three needy persons in BTAD region, included Karishma Goyary, whose right hand had been amputated due to voltage electrocution. The charity event was organized on Wednesday at Bodofa Cultural complex in Kokrajhar district by Helping Hands, a non-profitable NGO run by group of young youth and energetic generations in BTAD region, working on humanity services with dedicating and helping for needy persons in the region.
Artiste and dancers presented their beautiful dance showcase which created amusement among viewers in the charity event. The event has been organised to raise fund for three needy persons, included Karishma Goyary, a class nine student at UN Academy, whose right hand amputated due to electrocuted on April 27(2015) during playful moment with her age mates in their nearby house at Mushalpur in Baksa district, Anil Basumatary, an old blind man from his childhood days had been facing problems in his livinghood and Geolang Basumatary, get ill due to ansipetitise infection by Japanese Encephalitis two years back. Digambar Narzary,chairman of NEDAN foundation NGO graced the event as chief guest and inaugurated in the presence of public.Narzary,lauded the initiative by Helping Hands to facilitate medical expensive and donating some money to needy three persons,who are facing financial hardships in the region.He has appealed to all to donate money to make needy persons be healthy life among society.
‘This is a very appreciated noble venture organised by young generations to extend financial support through this event.We appreciate them and wish their successful initiative.Human society should come forward to helping hand to the needy persons and make their life too healthy in their livelihood’,Digambar said. The organisers also felicitated Karishma Goyary,her mother Samela Goyary,Anil Basumatary and parent of Geolang Basumatary on the occasion. Organisers said that they organised the charity event to donate money to the needy three persons,who facing finnacial problem and hardhsips in their medical treatment livelihood.
Samela Goyary,mother of Karishma said, her daughter Karishma Goyary had been electrocuted by 11000 voltage on April 25 last year in their nearby house and since her right hand had to be amputated.We have been suffering severe financial crisis while making medical treatment for her,yet sufficient treatment yet to get due to financial problems.
‘We thank,organisers who are organising such humanity venture for their daughter.We would be very happy if some body contribute money for their daughter to facilitate better medical traetment in comig days’,she said. Detsung Brahma,Dorin Daimary,orgnaisers said, ‘We are organizing this event to raise fund to the needy persons who are facing lots of financial hardship, especially for affected persons, included Karishma,Geolang. Everyone should help to the needy person and make them too sustainable stage among society. Through helping hand, we can build a healthy living’.
‘It was a beautiful event by organizing charity and we were involved with humanity services. Helping Hand is a symbol love of humanity and other people by extending supports. Helping needy persons is the helping our self. We must extend help to the needy persons among society’,he added.
