MARGHERITA: The Asom Sangrami Chah Shramik Sangha affiliated to CPI(ML) Panitola Circle Committee on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the Tinsukia District Deputy Commissioner to increase the daily wages of tea workers to Rs 350.
The committee further has urged the government to take over the Bogidola Tea Estate and to immediately arrest those who were involved in the killing of Asom Sangrami Chah Shramik Sangha leader Gangaram Kaul.
The committee maintained that several programme were conducted by members of Asom Sangrami Chah Shramik Sangha and AICCTU regarding to increase the daily wages of Tea Gardenworkers of Assam to Rs 350 and to immediately arrest those who were involved in the killing of Gangaram Kaul in the year 25 March 2013 at Panitola but after four years have passed Assam Government is in deep slumber which indicates that there is an Secret conspiracy because both erstwhile Congress Government and Present BJP Government have same ideology and principle. We demand to the present BJP led Government of Assam to increase the daily wages of Tea Gardenworkers of Assam to Rs 350.
